I live for a good Chinese food spot. I no longer live in the area, but coming here when I return is always on my to do list. My family has always ordered from this place and we are always happy. In particular, I really enjoy their house lo mein. There lo mein is very flavorful to me. I've had it other places and it seems the lo mein is just smothered in a bland brown sauce. Not here. Their egg rolls were hot, crispy, and fresh and their Crab Rangoon's keep me coming back for more. I will return on my next visit to CNY.

This is our go to take out Chinese food in the area. Their chicken based soups are tasty and the egg rolls are very good. Food is hot and orders are always correct. American Chinese food is basic and they do most well. Failing lately are the crab rangoons (kids love them) this past order seemed to be missing adequate filling, more wrapper little filling. Unless the kids insist we won't order these again. It's cream cheese.... come on. We will continue to order our usual which suits us.

The food was not good. The chicken was greasy and chewy, rice had no flavor, and egg roll was mushy and tasted like raw cabbage. The pork from the fried wontons tasted funny. I will not return!!!

Order is always accurate, food is always tasty and high quality. We have ordered here for years and have never had a problem. And always free crab rangoons!

I have come to accept that all of the Syracuse area Chinese-American take out joints are almost indistinguishable in terms of their menu selection and the overall quality of the food is poor to average.
China Wok is on the low side of average and, as I have written about other similar places, there is a need, demand and justification for this that stems form a non discerning, uninformed customer base. This is fast food but, not bad food. I have sampled their Sesame Chicken, Chicken with vegetables, Chow Mein, Egg Rolls, Fried Won Tons and Fried and Steamed dumplings.
Their service is fast and the food is hot. They do have many items prepared in advance and simply deep fry these prepared items. Wontons, dumplings etc... seem to be of the frozen variety and not homemade. Portions are not as generous and prices slightly higher than others. The orders are prepared accurately and the service very polite and pleasant.
